AIR JORDAN 13 RETRO "CHICAGO"

AIR JORDAN 13 RETRO "CHICAGO"

Posted by Christian Jones on

The Air Jordan 13 “Chicago” brings back one of the cleanest OG Jordan colorways ever made. A white tumbled leather upper sets the foundation while bold True Red suede wraps the midsole and heel, creating the classic Chicago Bulls inspired look that has defined the silhouette since the late 90s. Black accents on the tongue and outsole keep the color blocking balanced and instantly recognizable.

Built from the Black Cat Concept

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 13 was inspired by the movement of a panther, which is why the outsole resembles a paw and the ankle features the signature holographic cat eye. That detail became one of the most memorable elements of the silhouette, reflecting the “Black Cat” nickname often associated with Michael Jordan during his playing career. The design language still feels distinct today, mixing performance roots with a shape that stands out in any rotation.

True to the Original

The 2026 retro stays close to the original 1998 release with its quilted leather panels, red suede mudguard, and classic hologram near the ankle. It is a colorway that has only returned a handful of times since the OG, making each release feel like a real moment for collectors and longtime Jordan fans. The combination of white leather and bright red suede keeps the look simple, bold, and unmistakably Jordan.
