Paul Rothrock of the Seattle Sounders FC is the definition of a hometown story done right. A Seattle native who starred at Lakeside High School just down the road, Rothrock carried his relentless work rate and attacking edge into a standout college career, earning All Conference recognition and establishing himself as a true playmaker. That same grit has followed him to the professional level, where he now represents the Sounders, stepping onto the pitch for the club he grew up around in a full circle moment for both him and the city.
Hometeam and Paul came together to release this special rendition of our Starting Line Up tee, a piece that honors his journey while giving back to the community in a meaningful way. With 50 percent of all profits going directly to the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, the tee supports immigrant rights across the Northwest and elevates the release to stand for something bigger. The launch drew over 300 fans for an in store meet and greet, where Paul connected with supporters, taking photos, signing tees, and autographing memorabilia. It was a powerful moment that brought the city together and reinforced what Hometeam stands for, community, purpose, and pride in where we come from.
